Risk Assessment
In accordance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work 1999 regulations, all employers and the self employed MUST carry out a risk assessment covering both workers and others affected by their work or business. SASC and Risk Based Safety (RBS) can provide detailed site/task specific risk assessments covering all operations in the workplace, helping you comply with legislation and best practice. SASC specialises in scaffolding and access risk assessments and provide detailed site/task specific method statements that identify each stage of the erection and dismantling operations along with a comprehensive, more generic methodology. These risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are prepared by Tony Dean who has 35 years’ experience as a fully qualified scaffolder, scaffolding supervisor and advanced scaffolding inspector. Rather than generic RAMS that are rarely prepared by persons with scaffolding knowledge, our RAMS are suitable and sufficient for purpose and easily implemented in practice.
